Ladera Ranch Community

Ladera Ranch, an unincorporated planned community, lies just south of Mission Viejo in southern Orange County, California. The lushy-landscaped community is divided into unique villages connected by trails, parks and narrow residential streets. The 400 neighbors within Ladera Ranch are well connected in terms of community events as well as through their own intranet website.

Ladera Ranch Education

Ladera Ranch is part of the Capistrano Unified School District including schools within the community itself such as Caparral Elementary, Oso Grande Elementary and Ladera Ranch School, which includes both an elementary and middle school multi-campus.

Ladera Ranch History

Beginning in 1999, Ladera Ranch is a master-planned community along Antonio, Avery and O'Neill Parkways including 4,000 acres of rugged natural landscape. The new community lies on the backdrop of Rancho Mission Viejo, which at 23,000 acres is Orange County's largest working cattle ranch still in operation.
