Ladera Ranch, an unincorporated planned community, lies just south of Mission Viejo in southern Orange County, California. Beginning in 1999, Ladera Ranch is a master-planned community along Antonio, Avery and O'Neill Parkways including 4,000 acres of rugged natural landscape. The new community lies on the backdrop of Rancho Mission Viejo, which at 23,000 acres is Orange County's largest working cattle ranch still in operation.
